Find Medicaid Doctors and Specialists

Our Agency’s Area Medicaid Offices can provide you with information on available doctors, dentists, and specialists who serve patients covered by Medicaid. They can also answer questions you might have about Medicaid services and providers. If you are enrolled in MediPass and need specialist care, please call your primary care doctor for a referral. If the doctor’s office needs help finding a specialist, that office should contact the Area Medicaid Office.

You can find the office that serves your area of the state by clicking ahca.myflorida.com/Medicaid/Areas/index.shtml then click on your county’s name or the area of the map where you live. It will include a phone number and an e-mail link for contacting the office that serves your area.

If you are enrolled in a Medicaid health plan and cannot locate a doctor or a specialist, you need to contact your health plan for information on doctors and services. The phone number should be on your Medicaid card. If you are not sure if you are covered by a Medicaid health plan, you can call our Area Medicaid Office (see the instructions in the paragraph above) for guidance.
